Liability insurance

Civil liability insurance of manufacturers and sellers of goods, performers of works (services), due to damage to life, health or property of other persons, in case of:

• natural disasters;
• accidents;
• illegal actions of third parties;
• delays in the delivery of goods; professional mistakes. 

Object of insurance

The object of insurance is the property interests of the Insurer associated with his obligation in the manner prescribed by civil law, in order to compensate the damage caused to third parties due to defects in the goods manufactured and sold by him, work performed or services rendered.
The amount of insurance liability is limited to the insurance coverage.

The following events are recognized as insurance events:

a) causing damage to the property of legal entities and individuals as a result of the use of goods (products) purchased by them that have structural, prescription or other shortcomings;
b) causing damage to the property of legal entities and individuals due to shortcomings in the work performed or the service provided; 
c) causing damage to the property of legal entities and individuals due to failure to provide complete or reliable information about the product (work, service);
d) causing harm to the life and health of citizens due to deficiencies in food, goods, work performed or services rendered.

The insurance payment is made by the Insurer in accordance with the insurance contract on the basis of:

• applications of the Insurer for insurance payment;
• claim report;
• written claim of the injured third party on compensation for the harm caused.
